Refund policy

This Refund Policy constitutes a legally binding agreement between the donor, member, or payer (“You”, “User”) and Snake Rescue Organization (“We”, “Us”, “Our”, “Organization”). By making any payment, donation, membership fee, or other contribution through this website or any associated platform, you expressly agree to the terms set out below.

1. Nature of Payments

All amounts paid to Snake Rescue Organization, including but not limited to donations, membership fees, service-related charges, participation fees, training fees, event fees, or any other fees, are collected to support charitable, rescue, rehabilitation, conservation, awareness, operational, administrative, and allied activities.

Such payments are non-commercial in nature and do not constitute the purchase of goods or services. No consumer, contractual, or statutory right to refund arises from any such payment.

2. Strict No-Refund Policy After 24 Hours

Any request for a refund must be raised strictly within 24 hours from the date and time of the successful transaction.

NO REFUNDS WILL BE PROVIDED AFTER 24 HOURS UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.

This includes, without limitation:

  • Donations of any kind
  • Membership fees (new, renewal, or upgrade)
  • Training, participation, or registration fees
  • Service or administrative charges
  • Accidental or mistaken payments
  • Duplicate or multiple transactions
  • Incorrect amount entered
  • Change of decision or personal reasons
  • Lack of awareness or misunderstanding of this policy

This policy is final, binding, absolute, and non-negotiable.

3. Immediate Allocation and Utilization of Funds

All payments received are allocated, earmarked, or utilized immediately toward rescue operations, emergency response, medicines, fuel, equipment, shelter maintenance, training, administrative costs, or awareness activities.

Due to the time-sensitive and operational nature of our work, reversal or recovery of funds after allocation is administratively and practically impossible.

4. Refunds Within 24 Hours (Very Limited Exception)

Refunds may be considered only if all of the following conditions are met:

  • The request is submitted within 24 hours
  • The amount has not been allocated, utilized, or committed
  • Complete, valid, and verifiable transaction details are provided

Approval of any refund is at the sole and absolute discretion of Snake Rescue Organization and shall not create any precedent, right, or obligation.

5. Membership Fees & Other Charges (Non-Refundable)

All membership fees, including but not limited to:

  • New membership fees
  • Renewal fees
  • Upgrade or downgrade fees
  • Administrative or processing fees

are strictly non-refundable once paid, even if the membership is not used, cancelled, suspended, or terminated for any reason.

Similarly, any other fees charged by the Organization, whether recurring or one-time, are non-refundable.

6. Payment Gateway, Bank & Third-Party Charges

All payment gateway fees, bank charges, processing fees, convenience fees, GST, or third-party deductions are non-refundable.

If a refund is approved within the permitted 24-hour window:

  • The donor/member shall bear all gateway and bank charges
  • The refund amount will be net of all deductions
  • The Organization shall not reimburse or compensate such charges

Snake Rescue Organization has no control over third-party fee structures and shall not be held liable for any amounts retained by banks, UPI apps, card networks, or payment gateways.

7. Failed, Pending, or Debited-but-Not-Credited Transactions

In cases where an amount is debited from your account but not credited to Snake Rescue Organization, resolution must be sought directly with the respective bank or payment service provider.

The Organization shall not be responsible for technical errors, network failures, or delays caused by third-party systems.

8. No Chargebacks, Disputes, or Legal Claims

By making any payment, you expressly agree:

  • Not to initiate chargebacks, reversals, or disputes after 24 hours
  • Not to misuse UPI, banking, or card dispute mechanisms
  • To waive any legal or civil claims related to refunds beyond this policy

Any chargeback or dispute raised in violation of this policy may be treated as a breach of terms and may result in restriction or termination of future association with the Organization.

9. Force Majeure

Snake Rescue Organization shall not be liable for non-processing of refunds due to events beyond reasonable control, including natural disasters, government action, system outages, cyber incidents, or banking failures.

10. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

This Refund Policy shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of India.

All disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts located in Ahmedabad, Gujarat.

11. Contact for Refund Requests (Within 24 Hours Only)

Refund requests must be submitted strictly within 24 hours to:

Requests must include:

  • Full name
  • Transaction ID
  • Date and time of payment
  • Payment method
  • Reason for refund

Requests received after 24 hours or without complete details will be automatically rejected.

12. Policy Acceptance

By proceeding with any payment, donation, or membership registration, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Refund Policy and acknowledge that:

  • Donations are non-refundable after 24 hours
  • Membership and all other fees are non-refundable
  • Payment gateway and bank charges are non-refundable
  • This policy is legally binding
